Faust Salons

We are a proud LGBTQ owned, locally rooted salon built on education, artistry, and collaboration. We believe great hair starts with great people - which is why our mission is to cultivate a creative community where every stylist is supported, inspired, and empowered to grow. As an active part of our downtown community, we are committed to showing up for the people and neighborhoods that have shown up for us. 

Faust Salon has been a cornerstone of the Santa Cruz community, with locations in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz and in Soquel. 

Our owner, Sebastian DeEldon, has been part of the Faust family since 2010 - earning his cosmetology license in 2012 and growing through every role in the salon under the ownership of the original owners, Scott Thornburg and Phil Garza.

On October 1st, 2016, Sebastian took over the helm as owner, and in nearly ten years since, he has built a team he is truly proud of. His journey through every level of the salon is a testament to the culture at Faust - one rooted in growth, community, and a genuine love for the art of hair.
